After all, I’ve been helping people in Leamington and online lose weight for the past 10 years.

The truth is I’ve always had a little secret, I find it tougher than most to lose body fat and I have struggled with IBS for many years.

I come from an overweight family and I’ve always felt like I needed to push myself harder in the gym than most guys my age, just to look healthy and lean.
Don’t get me wrong…
I’ve competed at a high level in bodybuilding competitions and been ripped, I’ve even won a show. But my efforts had to be way over the top for what you would ‘typically’ class as healthy and normal.
But ever since I stopped competing 7 years ago, I’ve struggled with my weight, mainly around my stomach, loves handles and chest area. Now as much as I wouldn’t let that bother me, I’m not THAT type to strut around with no top on(apart from my holidays).
My burning desire deep down was I’d still want more. After all, I put the effort in and let’t be honest…
Men ARE like women.
They still want to LOOK and FEEL their best to be proud in their own skin, right?
Let Me Ask You A Simple Question…
Have you ever put a phase in at the gym and tried to eat well to lose a few pounds?
Only you find your belly isn’t shifting?
Well, there is probably a good reason for that…
…And now I possibly know why you’ve struggled for so long.
You see the thing is that I wanted more than I was getting, so I knew there had to be a better answer out there. It was time to ask some new questions.
This time it wasn’t about others, it was about number 1.
If I couldn’t look after myself then how could I possibly look after others?
So The Mission Was On…
I started going deeper and researching more and while learning off an expert in functional medicine, it cost me some money but the benefits were going to be tremendous.
I soon started to uncover and discover areas I never knew about.
This was exciting and my eyes were lighting up.
So I put myself on a 12 week protocol which consisted of 3 phases. To keep this short and sweet, let’s take a closer look.
The 3 R’s of my newly created Regeneration Diet from my Healthformation Methodology are…
- Remove – Eliminate Symptoms, Allergies & Bad Bacteria.
- Replenish – Restore Nutrients, Digestion & Absorption.
- Reinforce – Re-introduce Good Healthy Bacteria.
You’ll be thinking this sounds complicated but it really isn’t if you follow my simple plan and execute the steps.
The results were astonishing.
The thing is this was simply all about me restoring my own health and banishing that bloated feeling I was constantly getting.
The bloat was leaving me:
- Fed Up.
- Restless At Night.
- Embarrassed At Social Occasions.
Some of the big hitters to contribute to my elevated stress levels.
One of the highlights from this life-changing process was my drastic improvement with my poor levels of sleep. For years I have struggled in this area, I couldn’t tell you the last time I slept without waking up during the night.
But the cutting edge theories I know now have helped me understand what has been happening in my body, my sleep is now the best it has ever been.
Sleeping like a baby sounds a little corny, right?
But seriously, it’t THAT good.
I cannot explain enough in words that feeling of how good it is to know that whatever happens throughout my day, my sleep will not get affected.
Seriously, I’d of gone through this process just to take this groundbreaking part away from the learning process.
Poor sleep is a big contributor to fat storage, getting a good nights sleep sets up your day to help you burn unwanted body fat.
This has then helped boost my energy levels, I’m not talking about my ability to exercise more, my general get-up-and-go in the morning is immense and my productivity throughout the day has sky-rocketed.
This is all real, those around me are enviously asking me “what’s going on??”.
Because the reality is that I’ve probably been performing at 60% for the past 7 years.
I just didn’t know.
I thought how the way things were, was JUST how it had to be.
I was wrong.
And something else I was wrong about was my ability to lose body fat again.
You’ll be surprised to learn that I lost a total of 18 pounds and experienced a 5% reduction in body fat during the 12 week process, my strength went up too on the 2nd half of the journey so I would take a guess that I lost more than this while gaining back some muscle tissue.
Sounds fantastic, right?
And just incase you think you couldn’t achieve this too.
Let me just tell you that the only thing I changed was the approach to my lifestyle and nutrition.
My exercise was exactly the same as I’d always been doing.
The secret is that most people actually have a gut imbalance going on. This is what is holding people back.
Once we take the foot off the pedal and re-align this important area in the human body, everything that you’ve tried in the past, actually starts to become easier.
And wakes up to start WORKING how it’s supposed too.
In actual fact, I’ve used my methods on people who don’t really exercise much and they too have experienced some pretty awesome life changing results.
And just so we are clear, here are a few of the things you maybe thinking I had to do…
- There Were NO Counting of Calories.
- NO Weighing of Foods.
- NO Smoothies or Shakes.
- I Enjoyed ALL of My Meals.
And just incase you think I was eating 5 or 6 meals a day like bodybuilders do, this was from 3 meals a day and sometimes only 2 bigger meals.
I’ve come across some foods I insisted I’d never eat before but now pleasantly surprised I found this new awareness.
It’s only taken me 39 years to realise I love olives.
Are You Afraid Of Dieting?
Don’t worry, this isn’t your typical diet. It was only at the beginning where I was experiencing some hunger pains, but after this initial phase my body adjusted I was just eating as I felt like doing.
Diets don’t work long term, you may of heard me say that before. Which is why this does work.
This was an approach that can be used forever, if you chose into that.
So all in all, I am a very happy-chappy after going through this process. Emotionally this had made me a much improved all-round person. Looking at myself in the mirror at night has such a different impact on my mindset for the next day.
It’s scary to think that if I had not done something about my health at my age, then where would I have been in 5-10 years time??
We could joke that I look and feel younger, but seriously I do. Which is crazy to think that this has happened in such a short period of time.
Which then led me onto thinking…
If I could experience all of these huge payoffs from an ‘intention’ that was just to feel healthier again. Then just think what I could do for those who actually want to improve their sleep, reduce their stress and burn that stubborn body fat around their waist.
Be themselves again and find their lost mojo. Boost their confidence and start feeling great in their own skin.
