Who is or has been ill lately?

Who always gets a cold during the winter?

Who will agree that half of Leamington & Warwick has got a cold at the moment?

Sniffles, full on ‘full of it’, days off work and can’t train because you feel crap?

Is this you?

It tends to get EVEN WORSE towards Christmas because YOUR stress levels go up, bad nutrition increases, immune systems weaken and everybody is generally knackered..

Is this you?

Well, it doesn’t have to be YOU

…AND that’s no way to spend the build up to Christmas, right?

Even if you can lie on the sofa and watch ELF or Return of the Jedi for the 17th time ( I have watched it more than that )

…And I’m hoping I can help you stay away from the end of January ‘I hate my body and my life’ panic with these 5 simple ways to boost your immune system and keep body fat down..

1) Take 3 – 6g of Vitamin C per day..

Yes that is sounds like an overdose and is way above what is recommended on the tin but I can guarantee it is safe and WILL help you..

I do it during stressful times with my workload / life and whilst it’s not fool proof it makes a hell of a difference and so far I’ve avoided the stuff going around!

Not only does it rebuild your immune system but it is also what your adrenal glands need to survive and work properly.

Happy Adrenals = A Happier & Healthier YOU..

Start with 2g and build it up

(Also limit the coffee intake as this will stimulate the adrenal glands even more draining your Vitamin C levels even further)

2) Drink a load of water. Yes, you have heard this many times.

Keep drinking the 1.5 – 2 litres per day plus your other drinks..

This will help flush out toxins and also keep your brain sharp during the stressful times..

You can agree that this has been working, right?

3) Take Alkalizing Salts (found in our health shop).

An acidic environment is a perfect breeding ground for germs and these salts help counter act the acidity from a stressful life and poor nutrition.

Add to this lots of oxygen by getting outside for walks/runs and you’ll stay away from the problematic ‘acidic’ zone.

A simple squeeze of lemon or lime can also help with this (I do this)

4) Eat clean.

If your nutrition is bad, you can expect to be much more vulnerable to colds and flu’s simply because you don’t have the support in place to fight it off. I know you know this but are you doing it?

Simply, take the brakes off your immune system by not pressuring it with more to deal with in terms of toxins and chemicals to deal with..

Now I am not saying you cannot have fun, just be aware that we have bodies to look after so let’s find that healthy balance of health & fun, right?

5) Be ready for January.

Did you know it is only 57 days until Christmas?

..And only 9 Thursdays until Christmas Day!!

Before you know it you will be wondering how did I put on 10lbs in a few weeks..

We don’t want that do we?

I know most of you are training currently but I see it every year. People take the brakes off because they think they are just going to go harder in January..

Why make life more difficult??

Yes it is a busy period but there are ways to help with damage limitations.

You only have to ask me

PS – Let’s stay a step ahead of the rest, yeah?

If you want to know more how I can keep you ahead of the rest then please get in touch with me today and we can have a chat..
