Well believe it or not..

I was ‘caught’ the other day eating burger and chips!!!!

YES!!>>>> ME!!!

One of the gym instructors from a local gym walked into a restaurant in Leamington only to find me chomping away on a juicy burger with BIG FAT chips!!

And she was SHOCKED!!

Sorry to shatter any illusions here but for some reason, some people seem to think I only eat cat food and broccoli..
WRONG!

I’m not one of those coaches who says you can only lose weight if you are eating really clean bland food..You know the stuff that is boring after 1 week..

Don’t get me wrong, I eat well, I train hard but I enjoy life..I enjoy life so I am happy..

That is basically the direction I influence all of my PSPT members..

Whatever your goal maybe it is important you are not moving too far away from how you want to live, right?

Of course you’ll probably need to make a few changes but these changes are decisions you have made and more importantly you are enjoying..

Agree?

Here’s the thing..

If you train hard and eat right the MAJORITY of the time, you can AFFORD to have the occasional treat..

The problem people face these days is that it is the other way round…

They don’t train and only eat well OCCASIONALLY!

Please note: eating veg on your Sunday lunch ONCE per week does not count as being good!

You see the thing is, once your body fat gets to a certain level your body becomes what we call insulin sensitive..(Insulin is the FAT STORING hormone)

This means your body can handle and control your sugar levels MUCH more efficiently..

When your body fat is higher, your body becomes what we call INSULIN RESISTANT..

This means, instead of storing calories as surplus energy, you are more likely to store it directly as FAT..These are some examples of the things I talk about with my 1-2-1 & Online clients in the private members support group..

Also people think you need to train every day to become more ‘Insulin sensitive’

Let’s stick that one in the ‘Myth Box’

Okay?

There is a special way we do it here and it does not take long at all..

You see alot of people ‘GO’ to the gym and get no results..

People at Phil Sims Personal Training ‘GET’ results by going to my gym/studio 😉

^^^ Read those 2 sentances again ^^^

The difference between the two is they are taught the right approach for them individually..

We have some pretty cool and exciting ways of training <<< That's important I think So if you would like to find out how 2 x 30 - 45 minute sessions a week will make you more 'Insulin sensitive' then get in touch with me.. PS – Just think, next time you are caught eating something nice, then imagine how you could feel if you knew it wasn’t doing any dmage to your previous hard work 🙂
