On Sunday morning I was in a field full of happy people not far from Warwick Castle – you can’t beat a view of this historic landmark on a Sunday morning.

That can only mean I was within the grounds at St Nicholas Park which is just across the Castle passing the River Avon.

There I was playing with this little cute doggy – before I was properly introduced to the Mayor by Todd.

Who’s Todd you say?

Well he’s that guy from Warwick who dresses as a Cowboy – you must know him!?!

Todd was MC’ing at The Sport Relief ‘Run A Mile’ Event.

I didn’t catch the doggies name but it’s not appropriate for this email.

Anyway, I was actually supposed to be in this field as I was lucky to be a part of this event too – I was the official warm-up for the run.

People had the option of running either 1, 3 or 6 miles.

The event was organised by the local running group Regency Runners – a great club for women who want to run in a group and suits all levels.

Ok so we were probably not quite saving the world but we were playing a BIG part of an event that is doing something special for those who are a lot less better off than us.

This is something we forget living in the UK.

Just incase you didn’t know – Sport Relief is a biennial charity event from Comic Relief, in association with BBC Sport, which brings together the worlds of sport and entertainment to raise money to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world’s poorest countries.

So it’s kind of a BIG thing, right?

I mean if something like this can get Danny Dyer crying on live Friday Night TV during the Official Sport’s Relief Show then it’s gotta be taken serious.

Cuz he’s a right hard nut – or so they say 🙂

That’s why I don’t mind helping out with these local events – those who are a part of my INNER CIRCLE will know I give more than I recieve.

And just like me – there were plenty of people doing the same on Sunday morning.

Giving!!

Now I don’t know the offical numbers but I’m guessing something in the region of £3k must of been raised for the charity as there were about 400 people taking part.

Which is AWESOME, right?

But that’s not the only thing that was happening on Sunday morning.

No!

During the warm-up my key message at the end was that is important that people just go out there and have FUN!

Because sometimes people forget this – they forget WHY they are doing stuff.

And people stop falling in-love with what they are doing.

People often jump too far ahead – normally because they have created a goal but they have not created enough CLARITY how they are gonna actually get there.

Which is why they stop.

And then try something else until the same old stuff happens again.

It’s a loop that never ends.

A loop that keeps people unsettled and often socially pulled off course…

…leaving people jumping from:

  • Plan to Plan

  • Diet to Diet

  • Trainer to Trainer

  • Method to Method

And if this is touching a nerve right now then maybe I am right?

Look – I see this all of the time and I am not here to tell people what they want to hear.

One of my Coaching Modalities is to CHALLENGE.

But only if it’s appropriate.

When you come on board and you go through my MINDSET MASTERY MODULE then you’ll have the skills to beat those obstacles that may arise.

And the best part about it all is that you then realise why you are doing the things you do – and how you can make it FUN in the process.

Because just like the people running on Sunday – they were all doing it because to them it was FUN.

And if you do and find ways how you can make exercise fun then you will never EVER stop doing it, right?

And then you’ll be finally on your way to falling back in love with your body again.
