Is Personal Training for you?

Do you want to:

  • Lose Weight?
  • Burn Fat?
  • Increase Confidence?
  • Discover New Energy Levels?
  • Improve Sleep?
  • Boost Performance?
  • Create Healthier Relationships?

Maybe all of the above, right?

Well, I can help make that happen.

Let me explain how…

It doesn’t matter if you’re a complete beginner to exercise or have been training for years, a good personal trainer can be worth their weight in gold with your progress, goals and ambitions.

Whatever you want to achieve, there are so many benefits that a professional personal trainer and results-focused coach can provide along your health and fitness journey.

While some people may see having a personal trainer as a luxury, the improvements to your health, fitness and physique that a professional coach can bring make it a worthwhile investment in yourself.

Investing your time and energy is a great way to improve all the other areas of your life.

  • If you want more energy for your family, it’s worthwhile.
  • If you want want improved productivity for your business or work, it’s worthwhile.
  • If you want improved body confidence, it’s worthwhile.

If that’s not enough to get you excited, then I’m not sure why you’re here, but I believe you want to change, right?

6 Benefits of Personal Training:

1. Guidance

A good personal trainer and coach will be there to support you, motivate and encourage you through those days that are tough mentally, not just physically.

I will listen closely to your goals and ambitions, help you progress, make sure whatever you do is done safely and efficiently, and will make adjustments when necessary.

2. Challenge

While support is key, a great personal trainer will always challenge you and push you out of your comfort zone, at the right time as that is where we know the biggest changes take place mentally and physically.

It’s good to be praised for your efforts but it’s just as important to be challenged at times when you may not be pulling your weight or struggling to offer your full potential.

Having an external motivator encouraging you to keep going, is a sure way to progress faster than when you’re left to your own devices.

3. Educate

One of the primary reasons for working with a personal trainer is to have someone to educate you on all aspects of health and fitness.

This includes nutrition, correct exercise execution, workout programming, daily habit adjustment – everything that will give you a proper understanding of what is required for you to reach your fitness goal and ambitions.

It is even more important if you are a beginner, because it gives you a shortcut to developing knowledge and skills that might take you years to learn on your own.

It’s fair to say that people will sometimes need to be reminded about what they ALREADY know.

It’s ok saying you know a certain thing… but are you DOING it?

It’s a bit cliché but you only know what you’re also applying to your life too.

4. Accountability

Accountability is that ‘secret sauce’ of success – studies show that having some level of accountability can improve your health and fitness goal and ambitions by up to 30%.

The gold standard of accountability is having a personal trainer – someone to keep you on track and pointing in the right direction to success.

When you have someone there overseeing everything you are doing and helping you track your progress, you are more likely to stay consistent and stick to the agreed plan.

If you have made an appointment to meet your personal trainer for a session you are more likely to commit to that than if it was just you planning your own session after work and missing it.

You know what I mean… after a busy day at work, it’s all to easy to just go home instead of turning up for that gym session.

If you are supposed to hit a certain nutrition target by the end of the day, you will aim for that because you do not want to let your personal trainer down.

Accountability is very important!

5. Realism

A trainer will be honest with you about what you can realistically achieve in the timeframe you have for your goals.

It takes time!

Don’t be fooled by those typical before and after photos you see plastered all over the internet, most of them are fake or do not offer the full story.

It will take time but that will not be the problem if you’re enjoying the process, which in turn will help with sustainability and help keep you moving forward in the right direction.

I imagine you’re busy, right?

I will show you how to get your best ‘bang-for-your-buck’ using a minimum dose effort approach to reduce time wasted while creating maximum results, but I will also not lead you into a false sense of security.

Anything is possible, if you’re using the right strategy to achieving it.

6. Community

I’ve already mentioned above about the importance of having great support to help you with your goals and ambitions.

You will have that with me.

But I believe it’s also important to have others around you too. Something that my clients will often tell me is that they feel part of a community and become friends with some of my other clients.

Even if it’s just via social media.

It all adds up to helping you achieve great success.

Having people who are on your side and want you to win and succeed is very powerful and an under-rated tool.

The question is…

Just like Ann did last year with Personal Training.

Initially intimidated by the thought of using a gym as part of her health and fitness goal, Ann is now a force to be reckoned with!!

Don’t take my word for it…

This is something that she posted in my clients private Facebook group:

“So 1 year ago (Easter Monday) I had finished 2 BH front line shifts x-raying patients in horrendous circumstances with the ‘new’ SARS-cov-2 virus.

I spent the evening finishing a bottle of wine. I went to bed thinking I will survive this.

Wine will help.

To prove my brain is far more intelligent when I am not consciously attached to it. I got up Tuesday morning with a different mind set, gave up alcohol until July and took up more exercise.

Lost some weight then re-connected with Phil to help me with the next level.

Today I am 2 stone lighter much fitter. Have new friends and exercise buddies and I can do press ups.

Cheers Phil for all your encouragement”.
