If you’re in Leamington or Warwick… Personal Training could be for you. I’ll ket you decide if you read below:
Maybe you’re thinking you’re too old to lose weight or improve your shape.
This is not true.
Maybe you need to exercise to improve your mental health?
Exercise is a great natural way to change your mood.
Maybe you’re in pain and you’d just like to reduce that?
That can happen.
I promise you…
This is something I am confident in saying because most of my clients are in their 40’s, 50’s, 60’s.
They’ve all had similar symptoms as above when they first started with me.
I even have a lady who is also 74.
Which I will tell you more about in a bit.
If you’re one of those who are thinking about how to start but unsure about how to, where to or even if you should… rest assured.
You’ve come to the right place…
It often comes to a mindset issue if you believe you’re too old.
If you think you are then your body will follow.
So, let’s start over.
I don’t think you are too old; in fact, I am pretty sure you can feel better over the next 12 months than when you did 12 years ago… maybe even more.
There is a guy called Simon who has worked with me for 11 years and he is doing more and feeling much better now than when he was 49.
In fact…
I still remember the early days for him.
- He was a busy man.
- Stressful job.
- Family to bring up.
- Overweight.
- Tired.
- Was afraid of joining a gym to begin.
- Had aches and pains.
Does that sound like you?
Anyway…
He wanted to change and start improving himself for him and his family too.
So, as he was from Warwick… he decided to hire me as a Personal Trainer.
We took things steady and made small improvements each week in which overtime add up and help people make big changes in their life without having to change too much in radical ways like a lot of approaches you can find these days.
This also reminds me of my earlier days when I started at 24 years old and a complete newbie to a health and fitness.
I joined a gym but didn’t go for 6 months.
Why?
I was afraid to go alone.
Until I decided enough was enough and I decided I needed the help of a Personal Trainer. Which was the beginning of my whole journey.
In which I now helping people too come through the physical and mental challenges that health and fitness can throw at people.
How would we do this?
For a start, before we even begin… I’d invite you for a chat and we can see if this is something for you.
Then if you decide to proceed we can begin.
I like to concentrate on the simple approach.
Taking away the overwhelm of starting. It will always look different for each person.
The only thing that is the same is that they all started at the beginning.
Then we progress with small steps fro there.
I’m not a ‘kick ass’ trainer…
If that’s for you… then fine.
It can be challenging at times but the idea is we find ways that you enjoy, because people continue to do the things that are fun.
Consistency will be the key for your longer term future.
I’m more about giving some education and helping people progress in ways that are sustainable for them and their lifestyle.
With exercise, some simple mindset shifts and helping them feel good about themselves.
That’s exactly how it’s helped Sue.
She’s 74!
Covid hit Sue tough like it has with many people.
Although exercise is a great way to improve your weight, it is more important to focus on your health too.
When you feel better you’ll find a lot of other things you want to do much simpler to do
Personal Training helped Sue…
Her energy has improved, she sleeps better.
She’s more motivated.
Sue visits me once a week, that’s all some people need on top of some walking to help improve their health and fitness.
She’s even getting stronger!!
Her family are loving her progress.
This is a video of her hitting an 85kg deadlift which is more than her own bodyweight:
